Generate a link so a bystander or mutual-aid responder can send photos or a written account — an officer reviews everything before it joins the incident.

Open an incident, then choose Contribution link from the incident menu on the Dashboard, or click the Contribution link chip in the tactical screen's header. Anyone who can edit the incident can generate one.
Pick a Contribution type: Photos & media for pictures, or Responder input for a written account. Set how many days the link stays open under Link expires in — it defaults to 7 — then click Generate Link. The link, a QR code, and an option to email it appear immediately.
Before generating, set Attribution:
The link needs no CTT account on the other end. Send it by text, radio it out, print the QR code, or email it straight from the modal — a mutual-aid company on scene, a property owner, or a bystander can open it on a phone and start submitting right away.
A Photos & media link opens a page with two buttons, Take photo and Choose from library, and a button below the grid that uploads the batch. A Responder input link opens a three-way toggle: Evaluation and Report each take one free-text account, and SWOT splits into four — Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats — any of which can be left blank. Both pages tell the contributor plainly: an officer decides what's added to the incident, and nothing posts automatically.
Department admins and above see a Contributions tab in the right sidebar, badged with the pending count. A pending photo gets Accept, Reject, and Take down; once a photo is accepted, Take down is what pulls it back off the incident. A written submission gets Accept or Reject only. Rejecting or taking down a submission deletes it permanently — there's no undo.
An accepted photo carries three values forward, when the original had them: its map position, the compass heading the camera was pointing, and when it was taken — the same three values a photo uploaded directly keeps. The rest of the file's embedded metadata is stripped before the photo leaves the contributor's device — with one honest exception: a file the browser can't decode uploads as it is, and the app records that it couldn't be cleaned.
The Active links list on the mint form shows the incident's live links plus recently revoked ones, with a use count and expiry; an expired link drops off the list. Click Revoke on any live link to cut it off immediately — a contributor mid-upload loses access right away, and this can't be undone. Generating a new link never affects an older one; each works until it expires or you revoke it. Links and any uploaded media are kept for 30 days after the link expires, then removed.
