Open the actions menu (the three dots) on an incident's Dashboard card and choose Share with another department. Pick a department from the list and a permission — View, Comment, or Edit — then confirm. The record you hand over is the incident as it stands today: crew names, notes, and the narrative all go with it, not a stripped-down copy. The other department sees it on their own Dashboard, marked Shared. Remove a share from the same panel any time; the other department loses access immediately.
Sharing with another department isn't included on every plan.
Share Replay, in the same actions menu, is offered on any incident that has tactical events to replay. Pick how long the link should last — 7, 30, or 90 days — and generate it. The link is shown once: copy it before you close the dialog, because the app cannot show it to you again. If the incident has photos or lesson media still flagged for review, clear those first — your department keeps seeing the originals either way, but the link serves the blurred copies. If the incident carries a lesson whose "Who can watch" setting is Department only, the button reads Department only and generating is blocked until you change that setting in the Lesson tab.
Every link you've generated for an incident is listed under Active links with the date it was created and the date it expires — or, once revoked, the date that happened. Revoke one at any time — the holder loses access immediately, and a revoked link never comes back to life.
A mutual aid agreement between two departments mainly lets each one dispatch the other's apparatus, but it can also cover personnel. When an agreement includes personnel sharing, the partner department's people — name and rank only, never a badge number, a certification, or contact information — become selectable the moment you staff one of their apparatus on an incident, the same combobox you'd use for your own roster. A unit from a department that isn't sharing personnel falls back to a plain text field instead of showing the wrong roster or none at all. Sharing an incident and generating a replay link both take a member role or higher. A viewer can watch a replay someone else has already shared but can't start one.
